Most people assume analyzing a game's economy means sitting in spreadsheets, disconnected from actually playing. I keep a notebook open next to my keyboard during every farming session, jotting down drop rates and price shifts in real time. That habit alone tells you most of what you need to know about how I work: half the time I am a writer chasing the right sentence, and half the time I am an analyst chasing the right number.
Why I Keep Testing
Trends in loot tables and market prices shift faster than most guides admit, and that unpredictability is exactly what keeps me engaged. I run the same farming route a dozen different ways before writing a word about it, because a strategy that sounds clever on paper sometimes falls apart the moment currency values move. Whether you're new to a game's systems or you've spent years optimizing them, I try to write something that respects both starting points.
What Shapes My Writing
Hands-on practice is where the honesty comes from. I don't trust a guide I haven't personally stress-tested, so here's what usually goes into that process:
- Running farming loops across multiple sessions before drawing conclusions
- Cross-checking price data against my own trade logs
- Testing beginner-friendly shortcuts alongside advanced techniques
- Revisiting older guides when mechanics get patched
If any of that resonates, or you've spotted a wrinkle in the economy I haven't tracked yet, drop a note through /contact. I read everything, and the best insights usually start with someone else's observation.
